Description
The Yamaha CP-70B is a classic in the world of electric pianos, brilliantly bridging the gap between the authentic sound of an acoustic piano and the portability required by gigging musicians. Introduced in the late 1970s, the CP-70B is renowned for its distinctive electro-acoustic design that incorporates real strings and hammers, delivering a rich and dynamic sound that was revolutionary for its time and remains highly sought after today. Unlike fully digital keyboards, the CP-70B offers a tactile and responsive feel, providing musicians with an expressive playing experience akin to that of a traditional grand piano.
This model features a 73-note keyboard, which is perfect for performers seeking a more compact design without sacrificing playability. The CP-70B is equipped with a built-in preamp and balanced XLR outputs, ensuring a clean and powerful signal for both live and studio settings. Its modular construction allows for easier transport, making it a favorite among touring keyboardists who value both sound quality and convenience. Despite being a vintage piece, the CP-70B integrates seamlessly with modern setups, making it a versatile addition to any musician's collection.
