"It was time for a new type of tape machine, to fit within my midi-based multi-timbral synth workflow. The Fostex R8 with MTC-1 module for midi control and time code synchronization. The Atari ST running the first cubase as a companion, and octatrack. This Fostex - Atari system was actually indended to be combined in this way back in the late 80’s. I’m super excited to create some new music in the next months..."
