As someone on a budget, and having no effects to play with I was looking at the best tools for every job. But as a progressive player it looked like i was going to need the whole strymon catalog. Incomes the POD HD500x. After listening to Twelve Foot Ninja and seeing just wat they could do with te line 6 technology i felt it was worth a try, and at the price of 4-5 branded effects pedals, Could it go wrong? The effects are amazing and the amps aint bad for playing round with. Definitly the option for those who want to play round on a budget.
Well if this isn't the best purchase of my life i don't know what will top it. I purchased on possibly the best impulse buy ever, one of the purples goddesses of Meridian Mississippi!!! One that was previously owned by CHRIS ROBERTSON of BLACK STONE CHERRY. Although it was the B Touring amp it doesn't take away from the beauty of the piece. Armed with KT66's and an armoury of pure toneage, this is definitely the amp for me. The amp goes through incredible cleans, with the option of a pullout bright switch, to give you crisp all the way to all the classic rock crunch you could ever need. The lead channel is one of the only ones I've ever played that i wouldn't even consider using an overdrive in front of. This thing drives like a Truck and sings like a Devil's Queen. With a little Fuzz and a lot of soul. This amp will take you to Magic Mountain
After seeing the hype of these pick i just had to buy one, And i totally understand it. Although pricier than your Jazz III's these picks (i use master finished) are just perfect, they dont wear nearly as easily and you have total control of the string. I challenge another pick to compare!!
The nyxl's play good out the packet. they feel almost lived in already. They hold their tunings well and bend like crazy. its stated that these ones last longer and I'm yet to see one break. I'm going to be using them across all my instruments.
They are well built and well priced. Thomann ftw.
A friend of mine was gifted this by a family member who was the original owner but it was put in the attic and forgotten about. When he discovered it the bridge was screwed and was in need a repair. He gave it to me as he had no want for it and after replacing the bridge and Straightening the neck, with a set of D'addarios on it it plays surprisingly well. I plug it in every so often for a more vintage feel. The leather coated humbuckers are a nice touch.
I use the 85 in pair with the 81 and it is just the perfect set up for all your metal needs. You can get some blazing hot distortion and some crisp cleans as well. I plan on using them in future shred machines! What else is there to say?

I blindfold tested 6 bass's I was interested in and this one just clicked with me, the neck profile makes it as easy to play as a guitar, The body is contoured perfectly thin so it sits against you comfortably whether seated or standing. The CAP EXF-N2 Pickups give a huge range of tones and are so easy to work using the 3 band EQ. The bass is a gorgeous Sapphire Blue with Cosmo black hardware. Couldn't recommend higher!
I bought this second hand from someone on the other side of the country and it was totally worth it. Not only do the shells look awesome but the resonate well and tune easily. I play a range of styles and I don't think I'll replace them until I can afford custom gear.
The GX is just brilliant. it can either run from a standard 9v power supply or off AA batteries making it perfect for travel or busking. It has a range of built in amp models (including an acoustic simulator and a "mic" mode) and a load of effects such as Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Heavy Octave, and Reverb (also emulated spring reverb). It also has an aux-in and a headphone-out meaning it can be used to jam along to tracks easily. All in all this is by far the best affordable/travel/practice amp I've come across
Incredibly comfy padded strap for all your lifting needs. What more can I say?
This was my first proper guitar and it will be used till it falls apart an then after that. The neck is compound radius 12-16 in an oil finish. It is a mahogany neck-thru mahogany body with a flame maple top and headstock veneer. The EMG 81/85 setup Is an awesome addition to the guitar and give it a lot of punch. The rosewood fretboard has 24 frets with abalone inlays. The body and head stock have a Black front binding and abalone purfling whilst the neck has a black binding. The icing on the cake is the Cosmo Black hardware including tune-o-matic bridge ad locking 3L+3R tuners. The guitar is just an awesome all round piece of kit and will remain a prized possession of mine.
After Saving for a PRS for so many years and something else always coming up, finally getting my hands on one, a BSC one mind you, totally changed my sound forever. The only fault with this guitar is that i've only got one.
For tuning in drop C I haven't found a better set of strings. These nyxl's don't seem to disappoint
An amp that has been designed and not just ripped off of an old radio circuit. Conveniently sized and weighted to be taken anywhere. Loud enough to play anywhere. Power Soak for bedroom play and a really good DI for silent recording. A signal path created to fix all the issues of a classic amp and one of the quietest hums ive heard unplugged... Also the damn thing glows blue what can i say. for the price GET ONE. Serving suggestion - On top of a 2x12 fitted with Celestion V30's and a reverb.
I keeps me in tune and doesn't fall off... clear display and good functions. Its a damn tuner
Bought a few years ago, my first proper acoustic. This thing has survived recording, live, busking and a month in a field at a summer camp and will still hold a set of thirteens perfectly in tune. small bodied folk guitar suitable for all ages. For the price range not many match up to this (from guitars i've tried)
Found going for nothing at a carboot sale in an absolute state, never owning a strat before thought it was a steal, heavy over the top relic on the guitar. found that everyone that picks it up falls in love with it for different reasons. Mines is a 91' and i feel if you get your hands on one of these you wont be dissapointed
