I love this set of NYXL from D'Addario
When I need a heavier set of strings to go on my Helecaster (Chieftain) this are the strings I put on that bad_boy. I like to palm mute and attack the strings and these are the ones that do it for me. I don't substitute any other strings in this set since they are optimal for downtuning.

They sound great and last for ages. They've held up great in the studio, even with my sweaty mitts abusing them daily.
