I use FL Studio, and to record vocals we use Pro Tools. FL Studio is just an extension of my brain. If I think of something, it takes me 30 seconds before its in there. It might not sound good, but the idea is there… and then afterwards I polish it.

An iMac sits on Martin Garrix's desk in his studio. He has a PC which he uses to run his main DAW FL Studio, but he uses the iMac to occasionally work in Logic.

In this video titled MARTIN GARRIX HOME & STUDIO TOUR, Garrix shows some of the gear in his personal home studio. Around 7:10 he points out his Sony C-800G mic and says:

"The Sony mic, I love this mic we recorded the entire Area21 album on this one, also some very exciting new songs that I cannot tell you anything about yet, but we've all been doing them on this one."

Martin Garrix talks about using this plugin a lot, particularly in the intro of his track "Animals".
