My current workhorse
I got this machine built together with a good friend of mine a few years back. It's not exactly focused completely on music production, but it was aimed to go for performance, multitasking, and some gaming when i needed to stress out and gather some inspiration from somewhere. Of course, that will change one day since i do want a dedicated studio workhorse running on Xeon. Anyways, this is the current specs:

And an overkill 1250W PSU... But of course, it doesnt use 1250W when turned on.

Well... What to say. If you are planning to do complex tracks with lots and lots of instruments and plug-ins i strongly recommend to get a good cpu. I'm running on an intel core i7 from 2 and a half years ago and i manage to run up to 140 channels (a lot for a single track) with no "lag" or overload. As for the ram, if you're planning to use really "heavy" vst plug-ins (such as Omnisphere, Kontakt, or the Vienna Suite) your ram will soon reach the saturation point. If you work in 32 bit mode that's what will happen: FL studio will crash. Thus i suggest you to work with the 64 bit version of FL studio and have at least 16GB of RAM. As for the graphics well... don't care too much about that (512 MB or 1 GB is surely fine) What i suggest you is buying an external Sound Card whit a balanced number of inputs and outputs so that you can either record with a microphone or a line in or reach a better sound quality hope i managed to give you the answers you were seeking.

Really great, because you can choose what components to put in yourself
Really nice piece of gear. I've put all the stuff in myself, so it's fast like hell. And if I think it's too slow, I just throw some new components in. Pretty awesome.

Custom PCs are top of the list
Anyone who likes both gaming and music will hopefully have a custom PC. Mine has a GTX 1060 graphics card. I don't really want to go hardcore.

I'm against who says that, if you need that you want a stable system for music production, you have to buy a pre-built rig. So I built my one, and it's working well. Having a bit of computer knowledge helps you a lot!

It's ok
dual core i3, 1 tb hdd, no graphics card, random psu from a company i've never heard of before, and a random motherboard. also has an optical drive and a floppy disk drive for portable storage needs
