Mentioned in his interview with Freboard Journal, Mason's '52 Tele had previously been stripped, repainted with automotive paint, and left in a barn for 45 years before he purchased it and had it restored.

In an interview with Fretboard Journal, Mason is quoted as saying "He was building a couple of other guitars he was showing to me, but in the back, he was working on just a white Tele. It was plain, not a relic, nothing special about it." as to how he had acquired his white Telecaster. Since then the guitar has undergone a plethora of modifications, such as a Guyatone Gold Foil neck pickup, and more recently a G and B-bender.

In the Strymon EC-1 Single Head dTape Echo demo by Guitar Center on YouTube, guitarist Mason Stoops is shown using the Rainger FX Reverb-X. Additionally, Stoops has been seen incorporating the Rainger FX Reverb-X into his newer pedalboards showcased intermittently on his Instagram account.

Mason Stoops uses the Chase Bliss Audio Reverse Mode C, as evidenced by its presence on his pedalboard during a Guitar Center product demo, as seen in a YouTube video by Guitar Center, titled "Strymon EC-1 Single Head dTape Echo | Demo and Overview with Mason Stoops." The pedal was also part of his setup during some performances on the Lizzy McAlpine Tour.
