Craig Nicholls of the Vines commissioned this guitar - he saw one of producer Rob Schnapfs' S&S guitars and liked its light weight and sound. Quilted Maple top with Rosewood fingerboard, 2 TV-Jones Filtertron pickups.

As can be seen in the source photograph, Nicholls was spotted playing a white Fender American Standard Stratocaster with Rosewood fretboard on stage.

Although it is not 100% what kind of Fender stratocaster he uses, from the looks it is close to a 1970s one. This was his main guitar in the Outthataway era.
