Footage from an early gig clearly shows a Maestro Super Fuzz FZ-1S. The pedal is clearly visible on the floor in front of Donita and can easily be identified due to its large size and the distinctive "Compact Disc" design on the face of the pedal. Its topology is based on the Univox Superfuzz a pedal that was widely used by Grunge bands of the era due to its distinctly "sludgy" and "doom" like tones.
