Guitar Pedal X - GPX Blog - Boss Fuzzology - FZ-2, FZ-3, FZ-5, & TB-2W

guitarpedalx.com

While the Boss FZ-3 Fuzz enjoys a newfound appreciation, its high component count moves it beyond typical Fuzz Face territory, straddling into Tone Bender-like distortion. Despite its underrated status, the pedal's rising demand and prices suggest a growing recognition of its unique sound qualities. However, it's still overshadowed by the more popular FZ-2, and its current market value may deter potential buyers. Boss's decision not to revive it leaves enthusiasts yearning for a Waza Craft edition. While the FZ-3 offers a range of textures, its limited availability and escalating costs present a mixed bag for fuzz aficionados.
