"This is a BC Rich USA Custom Ironbird. Purchased off a good friend of mine, Joey Capizzi. He wanted to sell it and he wanted to keep it in the family and told me that I had to have it. At the time, I told him I couldn't afford to buy it. I knew it was a quality piece, but he said 'I don't care. It has to be yours and you should have it.' And vioala, there it is."

"B.C. Rich has been so kind to make me an Erik Rutan Signature Ironbird 7 string guitar with a Erik Rutan Signature Ironbird 6 string guitar to follow in the future! Gratitude to Bill Xavier, Casey Crabtree and B.C. Rich for making me this absolute beauty! I am honored to be a part of the BC Rich family. This is something I have wanted and dreamed of for so long, to have my own signature guitars. Well over 20 years ago I bought my first Ironbird and I have been playing them ever since. I wanted a longer scale 7 string Ironbird to handle those G# tunings and now it has come to fruition !!! Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this long musical journey of mine. So many people have been requesting a Erik Rutan Signature Ironbird for years and I am proud to say the time has come!!!!!! Gratitude"
