This guitar has noise-cancelling Seymour Duncan pickups. It was used on Gerard Way's record, "Hesitant Alien", as well as on the Aquabats Super Show.

In this video. Ian talks about his Fender "Fry Sauce" Telecaster. He painted it orange and replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan pickups.

One of the guitars Fowles uses is the black Gibson Les Paul Standard. He sold his wine red Gibson LP Standard to buy this one. He used this guitar for the work of Sense Field and Further Seems Forever.

Also, the wine red one was later sold. Its headstock has been broken off three times- one time on the head of Michael Chapman.

In an Instagram post by Ian Fowles, he is seen playing a black left-handed 1979 Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe H-S-S. This guitar is styled similarly to David Gilmour's and is featured in a video where Fowles performs a Rolling Stones riff.
