Jimmy O's Gear
"I worked in guitar shops for years growing up and always thought Orange were the best sounding and stylish amps I’d ever used. They’ve got a unique tone that cuts above the rest and allows a two piece band to sound huge." In this interview, Jimmy says "I split my signal, so I'm using an Orange bass amp and a Fender Twin," says Jimmy. "I can boost the highs for solos through the guitar amp, rather than using the bass amp as well – it seems to work." http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/the-graveltones-talk-heavy-riffage-and-denmark-street-597784

In this interview, Jimmy says “I use a Gibson Les Paul special, it’s a flat top, not a carved Les Paul and it was a house paint series I think they called it or something like that. It had this horrible bright yellow house paint. Anyway, I bought it off a friend and I sanded it back and I was like “oh man, I’m gonna paint this” so you know, I sanded it all back and once I repainted it I was like I’m gonna do something else with this. So I put a Bigsby on there, I started drilling holes and it was like “Right, there’s no goin’ back now.” And I just went to town, my different pickup configurations that I’ve done. That I’ve wired up…”
