Kygo's Studio Monitors
Kygo posts a photo of his newly purchased Yamaha HS7 Powered Studio Monitors (photo posted November 2014). He says, "Just bought my first pair of studio monitors! Guess it was about time"
The monitors are shown still in their original boxes. Follow up Instagram posts show the monitors set up and in use in Kygo's gear setup.
In a tweet from Kygo's official Twitter account, a photo is shared that shows his studio setup. In the image, there are Yamaha HS7 Studio Monitors, which are known to be part of his equipment, positioned alongside a pair of Genelec Studio Monitors. Based on the size comparison between the Yamaha HS7 and the Genelec models, it is likely that the Genelec monitors in the photo are the 8040B model. The dimensions and weight of the Genelec 8040B align closely with what is visible in the picture, distinguishing them from the larger Genelec 8050B.
