The Ronnie Montrose Signature amp is a bit of a collector piece.
Built like a tank and weighing in around 4.5 kilos. It’s a solid state amp that stays clean up to 10 o’clock and then starts to kick in some distortion. The birds egg blue cab is painted rather than tolex and has a few chips in it.
The Big Industries hangtag is still on the aluminum handle and has some wear to it. On the back of the cab, the word OASIS is biro'd on it.
Montrose was an American guitarist who led the bands Montrose and Gamma but did killer work with everyone from Herbie Hancock and Tony Williams to Boz Scaggs and Sammy Hagar. If you’ve never heard his playing, seek it out.
Buyers from outside the UK, please be aware that the power on these pieces are setup for 240 V operation.
All items in this shop come with a certificate of authenticity signed by Noel Gallagher.

The Latest version of the Epiphone Les Paul Standard is called the Epiphone Les Paul Standard PlusTop Pro. Noel used the Ronnie Wood Gibson J-200 alongside his Gibson J-150. This can be seen on the 'Sitting here in Silence' Gig. The guitar was purchased used from Hanks Guitar Shop in London. The guitar has been fitted with a regular Teardrop pickguard rather than the double Ronnie Wood Pickguards.
Noel played a Gibson Les paul 1954 'Black beauty' with a Bigsby when playing a cover of Neil Youngs song 'Hey Hey My My'.
This Watkins Westminster was produced sometime in the early-1960s. This amp rates at about 14 watts and is one of those secret-weapon amps in studios and player collections. Warm, and rich overdrive at low volumes that are perfect for recording applications — set the overdrive pedals aside and use the real thing. It’s pretty worn, but it’s over 50 years old so that’s to be expected. Note that the control panel has sunk in a little bit.
This photograph comes from MixOnline's article about recording Noel Gallagher's "Who Built The Moon". Judging by the many pedals already known to be in Gallagher's possession (Catalinbread Echorec, Strymon el Capistan) and the mention in the article that he owns over 300 pedals, we can certainly conclude that those were his pedals. One of the pedals that can be seen in the batch is the EHX Freeze Sound Retainer.
Noel has used several ZVEX Lo-Fi Loop Junky pedals on his pedalbaord since 2005, notably to play sound effects at the end of songs. These effects included;
. A voice sample of his daughter Anaïs saying: "That's rock and roll baby" (played at the end of Rock 'n' Roll Star)
. A voice sample from the end of Rubber Ring by The Smiths saying: "You are sleeping, you do not want to believe (also played at the end of Rock 'n' Roll Star, famously at the July 2005 Manchester concerts)
. Audio samples from the start of the Falling Down Chemical Brothers Remix (played at the end of Supersonic in 2009)
Most recently, Noel has started using three Loop Junky pedals on his pedalbaord for the 2025 Oasis Live Tour. These loops being;
. "That's rock and roll baby" at the end of Rock 'n' Roll Star
. Sound effects at the start of Do You Know What I Mean? (0:02s - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgjH4EOqNB0&list=LL&index=2)
. Sound effects at the end of Champagne Supernova when the band exit the stage (6:12 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LDMgGBWKGE&list=LL&index=1)
In this image Noel Gallagher is seen playing a brown '72 Nash Tele Deluxe, which he mentions in this MusicRadar interview. The interviewer asks, "You’ve relied on a group of guitars over the years – anything new on this record?" Noel replies:
On this record, all over it, is a Nash ’63 Stratocaster, which is fucking outrageous, and I have a brown Nash Tele Deluxe, a ’72, which is also great. I used my Gibson 355, obviously, and my brand-new Martin D-28, which sounds like it was fuckin’ bought in the ‘50s.
Another photo of Noel holding this guitar can be seen here, this one shows a black or dark blue and white star decal placed on the top of the body (where there is no pickguard). You can see the guitar in this video of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Live for Absolute Radio, at 39:10 during the song The Mexican.

Noel Gallagher owned this Ampeg SVT-810E 8x10 Bass Cabinet, often likened to a "refrigerator with speakers" due to its robust design. The cabinet features eight custom-made 10” Eminence speakers and shows signs of wear, such as rusty corners and worn tolex. While it may have been used by Andy Bell at some point, the cabinet is being sold in its current condition on reverb.com.
Noel Gallagher is a confirmed user of this pedal, as it is stated in the official website of MG Music. https://mgmusic.com.br/

The Marshall 2061CX cabinet is a hand-soldered, 8ohm, 60W, 2x12" cabinet that is meant to pair with a Marshall 2016X head. Of course, you can run any head with a cabinet like this and it’ll sound great. The angled speaker cabinet is loaded with reissue 30W Celestion G12H speakers. Noel’s 2016CX is practically new. It was used mostly on tour with High Flying Birds and ships with a flight case that carries the OASIS stencil markings.
