Another center piece in Silver Disco's studio, the RKR's can been seen in used almost every time photos of his work space is shared.
Silver Disco utilizes the Eventide H3000 Ultra Harmonizer Effects Processor primarily for space delays and echoes, which feature prominently in several of his tracks. According to a Facebook post by Josh Hubi, Silver Disco recently upgraded from the base model to the H3500 DFX to access the "Crystal Echos" algorithm.
The Roland S-760 was used exclusively on the production of Silver Disco's debut album "Red Unicorn". It can be heard in almost every song, where it's key role was sampling old disco records from his personal collection over the years. It's also apparent that his cat is also a big fan of the sampler. Today, it is mostly used to bounce samples from his DAW and back in, achieving a more "warm" and fitting sound DAW's simply cannot produce. This is not limited to bouncing synth stems as well.
The Ableton Push can be found being used on Silver Disco's instagram page. It's used mostly for MIDI manipulation and creating chords. However a few videos showcase him using it to chop samples and create drum kits.
Found within his rack, the Ensoniq DP/4 is a effects processor widely used in both old and new tracks produced by Silver Disco. More notably, the flanger and phrasers of the unit can be heard on top of stems, samples, and vocals when listening to some of his music.
The Alesis 3630 is seen within Silver Disco's rack and has been used to compress his entire debut album "Red Unicorn". The compressor is still used today and is known for creating very his punchy kicks.
The Pioneer PLX-1000 can be seen in numerous images involving Silver Disco's setup. Used for personal DJ'ing and music sampling. It's not the 1200's but according to him, it's second to best and considers it the best when comparing it in the new market, with the 1200's excluded of course :)
Silver Disco has been using the Behringer DDM4000 Digital DJ Mixer since its release in 2004. According to a photo posted by Josh Hubi on Facebook, this original unit is still in use today, highlighting its durability and reliability over the years.
The DT 880 can be seen used around Silver Disco's studio and is used for not only mixing down his tracks, but DJ'ing as well.
Silver Disco's trusty MacBook can be seen during his shows. Usually running Scratch Live/DJ and Ableton.
Ableton can been seen running in the background in almost every video Silver Disco features. It is the DAW he uses exclusively.
Silver Disco's MicroKORG can been seen in a few videos on his instagram and can be heard in a few of his songs. Mostly used for baseline creation.
The ProFire 2626 is Silver Disco's main recording interface used to interact with all his external effect processors and instruments within his DAW.
Spotted in a few of his videos, the UC-33e midi controller can been seen being used for volume control when producing. It was also used in 2009 as part of his DJ sets, controlling ableton while firing off samples.
Perfect size, the AIR Mini fits perfectly snug between Silver Disco's keyboard and Big Knob when it use. Used for making those smooth chords with the various VST's he uses as well as channeling the MIDI into external rack mount units via the audio interface.
Seen in his previous studio, a Fast Track Pro can be seen from time to time to record various synths. Also used for select DJ sets.
Silver Disco occasionally opts for the M-Audio Axiom Pro 25 Advanced 25-Key USB MIDI Controller when needing a larger setup than his usual Axiom Air. This can be seen in a photo shared by joshhubi on Instagram.
Ozone 6 can been seen running on the master bus in a few of Silver Disco's publicly shared videos of upcoming music.
Silver Disco uses the GForce Software Minimonsta synth plugin, as seen in a video on Instagram by user joshhubi.
