Zedd's Studio Equipment
Zedd has classical training and plays the piano, so it's important to him to use a very solid, reliable, and high-end keyboard. In photos of Zedd in the studio he can be spotted working with an M-Audio Axiom 61 keyboard controller.
Photo of a Zedd Interscope Studio session where he can clearly be seen working on a MacBook Pro. Sourced from Rukes, Zedd @ Interscope Studio - August 23-24, 2011.
While Zedd seems to be having some fun with his chair, we spotted the awesome Apogee Duet 2 USB Audio Interface in his studio setup.
One of Zedd's essential pieces of travel gear is his iPad, as stated in this May 29, 2012 Magnetic Magazine interview.
WHAT ITEMS DO YOU ALWAYS TAKE WITH YOU ON THE ROAD?
iPad, laptops, PS Vita, 3 pairs of headphones, LOTS of clothes (because I'm lazy and don't do laundry a lot), my NI S4 (DJ equipment) and Nike fuel band!
YOU’RE ON THE ROAD A LOT, ANY TALES OF EXTREME EXCITEMENT OR EXTREME BOREDOM YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?
I either watch Entourage (and this will not last forever unfortunately), play games on my iPad or PS Vita or sleep! At least in the planes there's not much more I can do. I've stepped up my road-set up a little bit so now I need power to produce music which means that I mostly can't work in planes.
This MIDI controller is seen behind Zedd in this picture from Rukes at Interscope Studios. http://photo.rukes.com/zeddstudio/slides/zeddstudio%20011.html It is also mentioned in a Tweet, given as the source here.
"Zen Tour's preamps are extremely clean and transparent which is great for any source." - Zedd
This mixer is seen in a picture by Rukes in a compilation of Zedd at Interscope's Studio.
The Midi Fighter 3D can be seen on the table in this image of Zedd in the studio by Rukes.

For a while, Zaslavski worked in Interscope’s studio in Los Angeles, but two years ago he moved to the Hollywood Hills, where he set up a studio in his house. “I don’t need a lot of gear. All I have here are my Augspurger speakers, the large ones you find in most big commercial studios, two small, five-inch KRK monitors, a Mac Pro with Cubase, an [Antelope Audio] Orion soundcard, a Slate Raven controller screen, a Slate Digital Virtual Microphone System, two MIDI keyboards — the Roland SV1 Stage Vintage and the Nord Stage EX88 — plus a very small two-octave MIDI controller with tiny keys, just to be able to really quickly check a synth sound or a sample."
In this picture of Zedd, taken by Rukes, he has an iPhone 6 in his hand.
In the rack at 46 seconds, you can see two Empirical Labs EL8-X Distressor units mounted below his headphone amp.
"Another view of Zedd’s studio, showing the large Augspurger monitors that are his main playback system. The outboard rack to the left of the studio desk contains, from top: two Furman power conditioners, Tube-Tech CL1b compressor, Empirical Labs EL500 chassis with AMS Neve preamp and EQ modules, Rolls headphone amp, Antelope Audio Orion audio interface and Dangerous Music Monitor-ST monitor controller. The curved control unit for the latter is visible on top of the desk in front of the left KRK monitor."
