The Antelope Audio Zen Tour impresses as a compact yet powerful audio interface, perfect for home studios and professional setups alike. Its four solid mic preamps, versatile inputs, and reamp outputs offer great flexibility, while the responsive touchscreen and sleek software provide an intuitive user experience. The Zen Tour delivers exceptional sound quality, combining warm analog and precise digital elements, with plugins that enhance recordings without taxing your computer's CPU. Although more modeled effects would be a welcome addition, the Zen Tour's pristine converters, legendary audio clocking, and zero latency make it a worthy investment for those seeking a scalable interface.

Antelope Audio Zen Tour review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Antelope Audio Zen Tour receives a glowing review for its compact design, robust build, and remarkable flexibility. Its standout features include latency-free onboard FX, a range of amplifier emulations, and superb sonic quality. Despite its small size, it boasts extensive connectivity options, making it a versatile choice for studio, rehearsal, and live settings. However, the review notes a limitation in the DSP FX, specifically the availability of only one compressor, albeit a high-quality 1176 emulation. Overall, the Zen Tour is a top contender in the portable interface market, offering excellent sound and adaptability.

sturdy, complicated, COMPLETE

Yeah, the routing manager is awful, antelope audio can't seem to do easy software, but that's not the reason why I bought this.

The preamps, the converters, the number of in/out, the on-board comps/eq/mic preamps sims/ are just perfect to give a nice kick to your takes.

I use the R47 mic preamp, cranked at full level, with a condenser microphone in front of an acoustic, and it SLAPS !

The tubechild comp can reduce a bit of dynamics on vocals and give it some grit and color directly while recording.

you can do so much, with this little thing...
