sturdy, complicated, COMPLETE
Yeah, the routing manager is awful, antelope audio can't seem to do easy software, but that's not the reason why I bought this.
The preamps, the converters, the number of in/out, the on-board comps/eq/mic preamps sims/ are just perfect to give a nice kick to your takes.
I use the R47 mic preamp, cranked at full level, with a condenser microphone in front of an acoustic, and it SLAPS !
The tubechild comp can reduce a bit of dynamics on vocals and give it some grit and color directly while recording.
