These strings seem to last pretty long which is great because I never have time to change guitar strings. Ernie Ball Earthwoods start out with a nice, even tone (not too bright/good heavy bottom), retain that tone and they hold up well to my violent right hand. I was told by an art teacher that I draw like I'm holding a hatchet and I kinda play guitar that way too sometimes. They're usually priced affordably.
These headphones are super dope. I use them for mixing electronic stuff in live situations as well as detail focusing on song mixes. Nice bass response. Super clear and fairly accurate sound representation.
I've been using these mics on stage since switching from Shure SM58's about ten years ago. When holding a mic, I tend to cup that sucker (bad habit and so very 90's, I know. Shut up. But it can take it.) They're also tough enough to take any of the stupid things I do to a mic on stage. Oh, yeah, and they sound alright for my histrionic wailing.
I bought the RPH-05 as my beater, fell in love and then got the RPH-03 to drag around. Its a good size for a travel guitar and has a relatively full sound for its small stature. If your expectation is for this to sound like a full-scale Washburn, of course you'll be disappointed. But they are totally dope for what they are. The satin finish on the neck feels nice and the little details make it look a little more fancy and old-school. These Recording Kings seem fairly consistent in sound as I've picked up every one I've ever seen at the guitar shops, despite already owning one, and never been disappointed.
The sound and feel of this guitar was more interesting than several other single 0's at a much higher price-point, including a beautiful Alvarez I tried. I bought it thinking it would be my new beater but it has become such a prized guitar that I went out and got a Recording King RPH-03 Special GC Edition Matte Black to drag about. The necks on these guitars sport a nice satin finish and the fret wire was even and smooth out of the box with no burrs. No snags at nut or saddle. Stays in tune amazingly well.
People always talk smack about USB mics but this mic is amazing. I record stuff and people be like, "Yo. What studio you go to? This is DOPE!" Its like 4 mics in one and all of them suit a purpose and suit it well. If you've tried one and didn't like it, you probably did it wrong.
I scored this for 25 bucks at a junk shop and couldn't be happier with it after M-Audio stopped supporting driver updates for my old controllers. I dig the little touchy-finger control strips for pitch bending and modulation. Gets the job done.
Less cluttered to me than most other DAWs and works nicely in conjunction with Ableton Live via Re-Wire.
This thing is an extension of my brain at this point. I couldn't live without it.
WTF can I say about this? Its the best fuzz ever. Put it on your bass and cry because you never did it before.
This guitar likes to be beaten to death. To really get the top moving you have to punch it a bit but I'm kind of a rough player and most of what I do is country-punk/blues-doom so I need an acoustic that can take a beating. Heavy bottom. Beautiful tone unplugged with a nice rich sound when amplified through the Fishman pick-up. I hate the battery holder being stuck with a piece of velcro inside the sound hole, though. That thing is a major pain in the ass to change with the strings on.
Tunes my guitars. Duh. Nice bypass. Sometimes it glitches out in the middle of a show and I can't tune. Not cool. But, mostly, I dig it.
Offers great signal boost and I love being able to blend the clean tone in with the fuzzy shit. This is the magic bullet.
Polyphonic octave pedal? Yes, please. I run this behind my Sparkle Drive and it makes everything so thick and meaty.
This delay is nice for a sweet 50's slap-back delay or spaced-out David Gilmore sounding stuff. I like to crank everything to 12 o'clock and watch it go forever. Very nice way to build a squalling wall of feedback.
I'll probably build a metal casing for this at some point because its the best overdrive I've found in combination with the other stuff on my Ghostwitch pedal board. Super cheap, clean signal, nice overdrive that gives me more distortion, brighter grit and beautiful feedback.
Two Octave pedals on one board? Are you crazy? Well, yes. Yes, I am. Wanna go crazy high with some dope-ass harmonies, but don't wanna deal with yet another guitarist? Wanna tune down for some massive doom but can't be bothered to bring three guitars to a show for different tunings? The pitchfork is a polyphonic HELLBEAST.
From a watery grave to the 50's sock-hop in hell.
...and all those wolves had a mega ass-ton of vintage Fender gear in the house so when I grew up and moved to the big city, I had to get me one of these '65 reissues. Run in conjunction with my Orange Tiny Terror/Marshall cab, this is the ultimate clean tone to compliment my raging gain bastard. And when I want total destruction, I stomp the Big Muff Pi through the Twin. Holy balls.
The Orange sound at a less obscene price point. low-watt head works great in the studio or on the stage. That hi-gain stage sound is unmistakable and really specific to Orange heads. I run this through a little Marshall 1X12 cab that has a hot-ass Eminence speaker.
