Great solid distortion for the money. No wonder Kurt loved it.
Beautiful tone that's easy to use and hard to mess up.
The groovy folks at MXR got it right in the 70's. However this is less versatile than DS-1.
I use it with my ce-5 for a faux roger mccguinn/paul kantner sound.
The ultimate les paul killer absolutely.
Makes the gibson fanboy's shit themselves. I put some Filter'trons in it and it sounds 😉
best sounding most reliable tube amp for the money.
Wonderful fuzz for the money. It's based on the Foxx tone machine. I use it for psychedelic lead tones
Lovely single coil sound, better for blues. Amazingly quiet and they work great with the BD2.
Great transparency on every gain level. Easy to use baxandall eq. Really smooth soft clipping overdrive.
They have a really warm midrange. With top end to cut through the mix.
The Vox takes pedals really well. Especially my spruce goose. It sounds like the British invasion.
It's more sensitive than the blue snowball. With a wider eq range, and a less boomy low-end.
The best mainstream strings around. They're much better than d'addario's .

Perfect for Hard Rock, Grunge, and Punk. The quietest true single coils ever
The convenience of a Strat with the bite of a DeArmond singlecoil. Really good for classic rock and jangle pop.
Beautiful Byrds clean sound works great with the Distortion +
Filtertrons are the original hum buckers. They're much cleaner and brighter than PAFs. I think they take effects better than Gibson pickups.
