Versatile, easily portable, and powerful enough for a small jam or gig

I've had this for almost 5 years since I got mine in late 2011. The variety of tones you can get from this is amazing. Though it's small enough to bring on one hand with a guitar hardcase on the other hand, it is loud enough to play at small jam sessions and gigs. The Boss FS-6 footswitches are pricey but they work great with controlling this CUBE. I wish it has an extra line out port like the CUBE-80XL has. I The only thing that made me give this just a 4 star rating is that a couple of knobs broke over time. The delay/looper knob didn't work correctly over time, then after getting that fixed I eventually couldn't correctly select the lead channel using the mode selector knob. I am currently arranging to get some replacement knobs from FullCompass.com.

All in all this amp is simply a great portable package and it's a keeper!

Great bedroom practice amp.

Not much to talk about. This is a great practice amp for beginners. It is loud enough to get a couple of friends over to jam and sometimes is loud enough for a small gig depending on the space you've got. It has almost all the effects you can think off and need. The distortion effect in this is amazing. The con of this amp is that it lacks basic E.Q.s such as Bass, Treble and Mid. Overall is a great amp for small gigs, jams and practice at home.

It's a really good machine, compared with the cost it is outstanding!

It really has a lot of possibilities inside, no hum or noise. Nice voice, great woofer with an energetic dynamic and tones. It has two channels, one clean and one drive (with about 10 typical effective emulators). I advise it too much! I got it 3 years ago and it never disappoints me.

jimmarchi1

they aren't really woofers in guitar amps.... you could sue them as woofers, but woofers typically roll off sharply around 4.5khz and have really extended lows while most guitar speakers aren't useable lower than like 50hz but have extended treble response that rolls off a lot less steeply

cento_jr

@jimmarchi1 Ok, I was speaking about the good sound it has, compared with its similars...

Great tone and variety for price.

Great for the price with a variety of both classic and modern tones. I take it with me when traveling by car. My main amp for 9 years.
