The company is the sole manufacturer in the world authorized to develop and produce the official equipment of EMI Abbey Road Studios. Drawing from a deep reverence for classic British recording console design, Chandler Limited builds meticulous recreations and original designs rooted in vintage circuit topologies, using original-spec transformers and hand-wired construction methods.
The product line spans preamps, compressors, equalizers, limiters, and microphones for professional recording. The TG series — including the TG2 Pre Amp/DI (based on the rare EMI TG12428), the TG12345 Curve Bender mastering equalizer, and the Zener Limiter — faithfully extends the legacy of the EMI TG consoles used at Abbey Road. The Germanium series, an original Wade Goeke design, employs vintage germanium transistors in all-class-A, transformer-balanced circuits, offering preamp and compressor modules in both rack and 500-series formats. The REDD.47 tube mic amplifier recreates the celebrated Abbey Road REDD console preamp, and the TG Microphone and REDD Microphone bring Chandler's console-inspired voicing to condenser mic design. The company has also produced the GAV19T, a hand-wired 19-watt tube guitar amplifier, and offers plugin emulations of its hardware through partnerships with Universal Audio and Plugin Alliance.
