Description
The Chandler Limited EMI TG Opto 500 Series Compressor Module brings the legendary sound of EMI/Abbey Road Studios right to your 500 Series rack. Designed to deliver the rich, warm, and punchy tones that defined iconic albums such as the Beatles' Abbey Road and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon, this module infuses your mixes with a touch of vintage elegance. As the only company authorized to manufacture the “Official Equipment” of EMI/Abbey Road, Chandler Limited ensures each unit is a gateway to the past with its handmade, fully discrete design.
The TG Opto proudly traces its lineage to the historic EMI TG12413 compressor, offering a dual personality through selectable sharp and rounded knees. This gives you the power to switch from explosive drum sounds to subtle dynamic control with ease. Coupled with continuous input, attack, release, and output controls, the TG Opto provides the flexibility to tailor compression perfectly, regardless of the source. Its true bypass further assures a pure, uncolored sound when the compressor is not in use.
