Earthworks Audio is a microphone manufacturer founded in 1995 by audio engineer David Blackmer, the inventor behind dbx. The company is based in Milford, New Hampshire, where it designs, tunes, and assembles its microphones, machining many components in-house from stainless steel and aluminum bar stock. Earthworks began by building measurement microphones to evaluate Blackmer's loudspeaker designs, and expanded into professional recording and live sound after musicians responded to the transient accuracy of those early tools.

The company is known for condenser microphones with extended frequency response, fast impulse response, and minimal off-axis coloration. Its M Series measurement microphones — including the M23R, M30, and M50 — are used in acoustics and calibration work, with flat response extending to 23, 30, and 50 kHz respectively. The SR Series covers live vocal applications, notably the SR40V handheld condenser and the supercardioid SR117 and SR3117. Other lines address drum overheads, piano, choir, and broadcast.

Earthworks microphones are used in symphony halls, recording studios, houses of worship, and broadcast environments, and have become common on podcast and streaming desks alongside traditional studio applications.

Earthworks has 90 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Condenser Microphones, Preamps, and Wireless Microphones. Their gear is featured by 29 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Pop, and Funk / Soul. Notable users include Wyatt Stav, Will Champion, and Andrew Huang.
