Mix of high-end and standard
Boldest pick: Pedaltrain Classic Jr
Only 7 pro artists on Equipboard own it, but it's ranked #8 in Pedalboards.
Strymon El Capistan dTape Echo
Avg price: $296.86
Versatile and powerful delay pedal
I got this along with my Strymon Bluesky and I have to say they make a powerful duo. Both Strymons produce a powerful that cuts through the mix no matter what I've playing though. The El Capistan is extremely versatile due to the multitude of options it offers. I use bright clean sounding delay on some songs and a dirty, worn out tape sound on others.
Avg price: $299.67
Best reverb out there!
I started using a Strymon Bluesky reverb after finding out that Ahab uses it on all of their albums. I have to say it really has to be one of the best sounding effects pedals I've ever heard, period. Besides having a multitude of different reverb settings it quite simply cuts through the mix no matter what kind of rig I'm using. Strymon has made many fine pedals but I would consider this their flagship product.
Avg price: $88.25
Precise tuning
The old Korg pitchblack was everything I needed but this is a total upgrade, I can always get precise tuning in a flash and the led screen is bright and easy to read.
Avg price: $173.17
Solid
Solid, lightweight and durable. Couldn't recommend anything else/
Neunaber Iconoclast Speaker Emulator
Avg price: $179.50
Authentic cab simulation.
This paired with the Neunaber Neuron makes pedalboard di capable. I can simply take my board to any gig and plug it into the PA. However my main use for this is for practicing in my own house through a bose speaker.
Neunaber Inspire Tri-Chorus Plus
Avg price: $232.00
Most powerful chorus pedal on the market.
I use a lot of chorus in my songs and consider it an essential part of my sound. I use the Inspire pedal because of its broad range of features and powerful, distinct chorus effect, especially on the "hex-chorus" setting.
Excellent modern OD tone.
Does an excellent job sharpening up the tone on both my Rectifier and preamp pedal.
Avg price: $200.88
Solid alternative to a full amp.
I use this pedal both as a clean boost/eq for my amp and also in conjunction with a Neunaber Iconoclast when I got without an amp. This makes my pedalboard di capable and I can basically play any venue with a decent pa without an amp if I have too. The Neuron is capable of both crushing metal tones and glassy leads.
Rules the roost.
Solved all my noise problems, I use a Mesa Triple Rectifier and this does a good job taming the noise and hum.
Avg price: $260.69
Excellent analog vibrato chorus.
Probably one of best on the market, clear sound and highly adjustable with stereo and exp capabilities.
