The most powerful low-resource set of pianos out there
This is an older VST and I admit, ...is not the best piano VST out there currently in terms of sonic quality, ...but still ranks up there at the top, considering it is very NON resource-intensive, loads easily, and (somehow) maintains FULL polyphony over the entire keyboard. A piano probably is the most polyphony-demanding instrument (more notes at the same time than, say, an organ or synth), and you definitely don't want glitches or drop-outs when playing piano. TruePianos gives you 5 piano modules (engines) to choose from. For modern progressive music (rock/jazz/R&B), I use the Atlantis and Saphire modules because they have the more processed "brighter" piano sounds. I also find that I like the playablity. I find myself "enjoying" playing this VST, has a great feel.

a versatile plugin for electronic piano sounds
Nothing like a real piano; don't let the 'true' in the name turn you astray. Sounds more like a Korg M1 with physical modelling incorporated, which is exactly why it's just the ticket for all sorts of electronic fake-but-real-enough pianos.
