Serious Collectors.Up for auction is a set of Arbiter "RINGO STARR" Model drumsticks, that were used by Ringo during the August 13th 1966 concert, at Olympia Stadium in Detroit. Sticks were made by Ivor Arbiter, who owned a music store in England and made signature sticks for certain groups from the mid 60s to early 70s. Sticks were given to my father, who was a bodyguard at the concert that night. He asked Ringo for them earlier and Ringo handed them to my father as he walked off stage after the show. My father stood behind Ringo for the whole show. For proof of authenticity, copies of these photos will be included in the sale. The Beatles performed two shows that day, one at 2:00 and later at 7:00. Between sets i was able to go up on stage and get a photo sitting on Ringo's drum kit. Autograph is not included. A Jimi Hendrix Experience set of autographs and Mitch Mitchell concert-used drumsticks, 1968

Three separate pieces of lined notebook paper; each signed by a member of the band; the first penned in blue ballpoint ink reads "Love to you / Fore / Ever / Jimi Hendrix" [sic]; the second penned in red ballpoint ink reads "Best Love / Noel Redding;" the third also penned in red ballpoint ink reads "Stay Beautiful / Love / Mitch;" mounted together with a pair of Arbiter 'Ringo Starr' model drumsticks with a placard reading "Mitch Mitchell Concert used drumsticks Gothenburg, Sweden 4 January 1968;" autographs also obtained at the same time, according to accompanying paperwork. This particular concert is infamous because Hendrix was arrested later that night for trashing his hotel room and was later fined $2,500 -- a relatively large sum in 1968.
