Embertone's Recorders delivers an impressive level of realism, thanks to its fantastic legato scripting and attention to detail, making it a joy for any player. The ability to engage trills mid-note and utilize polyphonic play enhances versatility. However, the library does suffer from some imbalance between lower and higher-pitched instruments in combination mode, and the lack of microphone positioning options is a missed opportunity. While the extra noise on some notes can detract from realism, it often contributes to a more lifelike sound. Overall, this library is a compelling choice for those seeking a rich, nuanced recorder experience.
