It does a job. It does more than a job now
I struggle to get the action low enough to be comfortable. This has now been tuned to Open G (DGDGBD) and is used for slide. Having a double cutaway, it is easy to get up to the higher frets and being an electro acoustic you can wire it into an amp. Prone to feedback though.
Ok, this has now gone from 2 to 3 stars as I have now strung this up as a Nashville tuned guitar and I find I have more use for it. If you have a cheap guitar that you have fallen out of love with then Nashville tuning might be the way to fall in love with it.
Following on from tuning this guitar to Nashville tuning, (and despite a luthier telling me that the action couldn't be made any lower), I popped the neck off (as it is bolted on like a normal strat) and put a small shim in. A qick tweak of the trust rod and this is now a low actioned guitar that I really love playing and take regularly to jams to add a little more colour and contrast when there are several people playing due to the Nashville tuning.

Nice, compact acoustic/electric guitar
See my review of the Telecoustic. Same guitar, different look, same results. Good guitar for the cash.
