Best In Its Class
I've tried many analog delay pedals in this price category, and this one is by far the clear winner. As cliched as it sounds, there's no other way to describe the repeats on this unit than as 'warm' and 'lush'.
On the right settings it adds a dreamy quality to your tone, with the repeats gently melting away, their lingering presence felt subconsciously rather than heard. Some analog delays I'd tried offered up harsh, unmusical repeats (cough 616 cough), but not so with this pedal. Even the self oscillation sounds great, so far that I've even used it in a few of my tracks.
Its simple layout, solid construction and eye catching color contribute to a pretty impressive package for the price. If I had to give any negatives, it's that the blue LED may be a little too bright, making it hard to see the knobs in low light situations. That's a minor nitpick. If you're looking for a true analog delay and you don't need long delay times (300ms tops with this baby), then look no further.
Delay pedals have come and gone from my board, but the Aqua-Puss has and will continue to be a constant in my effects repertoire. See for yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed !

Great sound
On loan from a friend... Love the larger knobs and good sound of this unit. Larger footprint than a Boss or Behringer size pedal. I think this goes out to 330ms so longer delays are out of the question. Use it for doubling/slapback and it is great. Hope my buddy doesn't want it back soon :)

Best slapback
Warm, analog, great for slapback. It oscillates pretty quickly so be careful with the blend knob.

Excellent analog delay pedal
An amazing analog delay pedal. This was my first delay pedal and honestly I got it because John Mayer had one. The delay repeats are so warm and compliment your guitar lines so nice. The slap-back settings are really killer. I send this delay last in the chain to only my Fender amp, while my Traynor don't not receive the signal. This makes for a stereo/wet/dry rig.

I have never heard a better sounding delay pedal. This is just so natural and easy to work with. So many great guitarist use this pedal, so it you're trying to emulate their sounds, this is a must..

Noel Gallagher used the Way Huge Aqua Puss in a live presentation at "Later With Jools Holland" in 2000. The effect used starting at 3:32 to make oscillating noises and the pedal itself is visible at 3:52.
"The Aqua-Puss and the Carbon Copy are two things that I brought into it because at the beginning of the tour they were playing a Les Paul and Mary Ford tune called 'How High the Moon', and so we wanted to get a pretty good sounding slapback. The Aqua-Puss is really nice for that. The repeats are pretty accurate to the actual sound of the guitar, whereas with the Carbon Copy the repeats are a little bit on the darker side," explains Jeff Beck's guitar tech.
