great value for the price you're paying
First I was afraid it wouldn't sound natural enough for my acoustic guitars. After some tests at the local music store it turned out great value for the price I was paying. Not only did I want the pickup to amplify my 6 string, it also should be able to amplify my 12 string. It did work out great for also the 6 and the 12 string. After all pretty happy with my purchase. The pickup itself is pretty thick, you should definitely look if the [pickup fits into your guitar. It is easy to mount however if I had a bigger budget I would have gone for Piëzo or a condensator mic.
Artist usage
Add artist
In this Youtube video, where Billie is performing her cover of “More Than This” by Roxy Music, you can see Billie is most likely using this Fishman Acoustic pickup on her Gibson J-45. At 0:38 the pickup is seen more clearly. Since the humbucker version of the pickup is very similar to this one, I’m assuming she uses the single coil version.
