My first step into music... Never let me down in 25 years.
Man, if my harmonica could talk. It would tell you a story of a boi that fond it on a back of a pawn store in New York. It was love at first time and a marriage that lasted for all those years. If you have an opportunity to buy a harmonica to see if you are gonna love it, just do it. This brand is the most respected name in harps in the hole world, played by so many great well known musicians that have inspired many generations of kids. Trust me, open your wallet give it a try and never look back into your old self when you didn’t believe if you have the guts to hold an instrument. Harp is the most easy instrument in the world to start with. You just have to breath hard on it and the rest of the story you will learn on youtube for sure. You have my world!!

Sounds amazing but it WILL swell...
... it is only a matter of when, not if. I think that the wood should have a better treatment. If you don't send it immediately to a luthier to fix before you use, the comb will swell. Since that is completely necessary, it is an expensive harmonica and you can buy a Crossover instead avoiding those problems.

What can I say? It's a Hohner. It's fantastic!
I've owned three things most of my life since I was 18 years old. A guitar, synthesizers, and Hohner harmonicas. No reason to ever buy any other brand. I also own a Hohner Blues Bender harmonica.
This Marine Band in C is durable and sounds so sweet. If you smoke or used to smoke (whatever you smoked), it's good to play harmonica to strengthen your lungs. As Bob Dylan has demonstrated, among many others, harmonica and guitar go together like tuna sandwiches and potato chips.
Get funky with it, bluesy, or avant garde. But add a Hohner Marine Band C to your gear right now. I command you! LOL

My go to harps. I love the tone and deep range. I find that the reeds don't hold up very long. I also find them hard to work on and clean, so once they go sour, I'm done with em...other than that, they sound great.
