Great EQ Pedal

I’m a weekend warrior guitar and bass player and got this pedal because Aiden from the Happy Bluesman told me I needed an EQ pedal for a great blues tone. Being a fan of unique and vintage gear, this popped up and I grabbed it. It does what it says on the box which is cut and boost certain frequencies very well. But reading the manual online, it lets you create whole different sounds from your guitar. For example, you can make your Strat sound like a 335 hollow body or even a Gretsch style guitar. I use it for electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass guitar, even harmonica and it’s great. Good for cutting out feedback. There are two boost switches 1. Treble Boost and 2. Overall Boost. This is what makes this pedal awesome. This pedal is big and takes up space but you don’t need another boost pedal on your board. It’s rad to have those options. Power wise, it takes 2 x 9 volt batteries which sucks when I always forget to unplug the thing, and have to put more batteries in. I ended up getting a tech guy to change it to 9v power for me and it’s now happy days. I would have given 5 stars but the batteries were thirsty. With this pedal I can get great blues tones and much more. I’ve used it as a set and forget pedal, but it does love tweaking as the sliders are powerful. It’s a keeper.
