Sounds Perfect - But Midi options are...
Nothing to say about onboard settings and sounds : it's all easy and perfect. Concerning midi use : It's not really very reliable. You can easily recall the 4 presets. But if you want a slight change on it, it won't allways answer the way you wan't. The situation comes from the pedal doesn't buffer MIDI. So you'll have to send 1 MIDI data at a time. (Explanation given by Source Audio) Therefore, it's a 4 Stars. Would have given 4.5 if I could.

The best tool I have.
There is a lot one can do with just an EQ, add in presets and MIDI control and there is A LOT one can do with just THIS EQ. I would change the center frequencies a bit for bass but it comes ready for bass and that is not something many units can say. Volume as part of the presets turn this pedal into a nice combo EQ+Boost.

Great unit
It has a very clean signal response, an easy interface, a friendly size, MIDI implementation and the added bonus to use it as a little frequency sequencer with its auto-scroll option. Unique piece of gear, reliable and funny to explore as it goes beyond what any other EQ pedals has to offer.
It just looks ugly, as everything by Source Audio (though they have worst examples).
