PocketDrum from Aeroband: Are the Sticks a Gimmick?

drumspy.com

While the PocketDrum offers a fun concept for portable drumming, it ultimately falls short of practicality for serious musicians. The Bluetooth connectivity is fast with minimal latency, and the silent operation is a plus. However, it only supports a few apps and lacks the richness of traditional drum setups, making it feel like more of a novelty than a legitimate practice tool. The price point appears steep for what it offers, and without connection to a digital audio workstation, many drummers may find better alternatives. Ideal as a gift for casual users or kids, but serious drummers might want to look elsewhere.

Cool, easy to start as a beginner, portable, mini gear, good for traveller

Got this gear 3 month ago. I want to learn drumming it as a beginner. The traditional one is too difficult for me, and it normally needs a lof of space. However, this Pocketdrum set recommended by my friend is a nice fit for me. I use it to learn three mode. There're game mode, free mode, and tutorial mode. Tried them all, but only the free mode is suitable for me. Any way, I keep using it until now and try to find a partner with the same gear to discuss the problems we might meet.

I also have some complaints for this music instrument actually. I think there should be a clear wy of how to download the Aeroband app in the user's manual. It really took me too much time on downloading the app.
