The Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2016 Edition impresses with its sturdy build and tactile feel, offering a more satisfying typing experience over time. However, the keyboard's heft and cumbersome cable design can be off-putting, and the Razer Synapse software is sluggish. While the initial expense and quirks might deter some, the long-term comfort and stability on the desk are undeniable. It's not a game-changer for typing speed, but it might make the transition to mechanical keyboards worthwhile for those patient enough to adapt.

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth 2016 review - Great for typing and great for gaming! | Digital Citizen

digitalcitizen.life

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth 2016 is a stellar choice for both gamers and typists. Its responsive, tactile orange switches offer a quieter experience than typical mechanical keyboards, although true silence isn't achieved. The backlighting is a practical feature, especially at night, and while the keyboard is limited to green, it provides various lighting effects. The Razer Synapse software enhances usability with customizable profiles and macros, though a Razer account is required. The inconsistent keystroke lifespan claims are a slight misstep, but overall, it's a robust, versatile keyboard that excels in its dual-role, earning a strong recommendation.

It's Great

This is the first mechanical keyboard I ever got and I'm still using it to this day. I think it looks cool, feels so good & sounds nice when you're typing on it. Other than that, it's pretty basic at doing it's job, especially with the lights although I did get this for $40 during black friday
