Description

The Redwood RB4 electric bass guitar in black, caters to beginners who're embarking on their musical journey, but plays so well that even seasoned pros will appreciate the exceptional build quality of this awesome model. Smooth P-Bass Style

The RB4 body is shaped to the well-known P-Bass body profile, which has a contoured double-cutaway design that makes it very comfortable to play. The shapely curves of the body allows the bass to rest snugly against the body, whether you prefer to play it up high, or sling it down low.

The tonewood used in the construction of the body is that of alder, which has a balanced tone with a generous helping of low, mid, and high frequencies. Thanks to its highly resonant character, the body generates a great deal of energy, thus giving the RB4 a wide dynamic range. The body has been treated to a sophisticated black paintjob, which is protected by an over-sized pickguard that shields the body around the pickups and control pots. Responsive Neck Design

The neck has been fitted to the body using a bolt-on construction, giving it a secure feel, which allows you to play with the confidence that the neck will match you every step of the way. The neck is set along a 34" scale length, giving it ample length to generate masses of sustain. Paired with the neck is a smooth rosewood fingerboard, home to 21-frets that sound out with energy and articulation. Articulate Split Single-Coil Pickup

The Redwood RB4 electric bass guitar has a simplified electronics setup that consists of a split single-coil pickup in the middle position, and is controllable via master volume and tone pots. Do not underestimate the versatility of this setup. The balanced timbre of the alder is represented perfectly, whilst subtle adjustment of the volume and tone pots can yield a distinct array of tones. Hardworking Hardware

The secure hard tail bridge keeps the strings fixed in position, whilst the nut and tuning machines work together to uphold string tension, and tuning integrity. Whether you prefer to play gently, or attack the strings vigorously, you can rest assured that the RB4 can capably deal with any and every onslaught.

The Redwood RB4 electric bass guitar is proof that an instrument that plays well, sounds great, and is built to last, need not cost the earth. Thanks to the carefully considered appointments and attention to detail, Redwood have managed to create an instrument that is beneficial to both beginners and experienced players alike.
