SM Pro M-Patch 2

soundonsound.com

SM Pro Audio's M-Patch 2 impresses with its transparent audio path and passive design, ensuring no added noise or distortion. Its dual input/output switching and handy headphone amp offer versatility, though the nearly invisible knob pointers and lack of an on/off switch for the PSU are minor drawbacks. For £84, it delivers a robust feature set that doesn't compromise audio quality, making it a standout choice for budget-conscious studios. A real bargain for those seeking a reliable monitor controller.

The SM Pro Audio M-Patch 2 impresses with its versatility and build quality, offering a passive and balanced audio path with multiple input options and accurate volume control. Despite its low price, it delivers impeccable sound without the hum typical of unbalanced controllers. While some might consider the various switches overkill, they prove useful for comprehensive audio management, like mono summing and multiple outputs. Criticisms include its lightweight build, which may require stabilization, and minor pot noise when headphones are turned up full. Overall, the M-Patch 2 is a great value, seamlessly integrating into setups and performing reliably, making it a recommended buy for budget-conscious audio professionals.

Really cool volume knob. But also cool to have for 2 pairs of speakers

This little thing has 2 inputs for speakers and 2 inputs for computer/dj set. But thats not all. It has 2 outputs for speakers. So you can switch with 2 pairs of speakers.
