The TDC-YOU BASS DI was created at the request of the recording engineers at STUDIO YOU, the manufacturer. Equipped with a vintage germanium transistor buffer and a special output transformer. It has a built-in booster with a low amplification level, and by lightly boosting the sound, it increases the presence of the sound. The level and gain can be turned on/off to use as a booster or preamp. Even when it is turned off, it has a wide range and a fast attack, and produces a powerful sound for recording and live performances. It is supported by top artists both in Japan and abroad, who say that it sounds like a bass amp picked up by a microphone and that the sound of the earmony is good.

■ Carefully selected parts used The latest low-noise, high-impedance ICs are used in the first and second stages, and vintage germanium transistors are used in the final stage. Components that prioritize sound quality are used, such as KESTER solder, NEUTRIK jack, Honda Ohm carbon resistor, special permalloy core paper insulated transformer, hand-soldered bent part leads, carefully selected glass epoxy board, etc.
