Normalise graphic EQs!

I love being able to see my EQ when I playing, and being able to change it so easily, the high and low pass filters are also so helpful for boosting quickly As for the distortion, you don’t find it any where else, Darkglass does it best

Best metal bass preamp pedal that sounds like a bass amp going direct.

Before I had this preamp pedal, I was struggling so much with bass players who were extremely unreliable. They'd fail to meet deadlines, be dishonest about their employment statuses, and then deliberately sabotage my music projects. What I also love about this pedal is that it has an cab sim IR loader, which allows you to upload your own cab IRs and use them anywhere you want. Super cool.

Revolutionary, Inspiring and incredibly versatile.

Darkglass don't lie when they say it's "the most versatile bass preamp they've ever made" but it truly goes beyond that and blows every other pre I've used out of the water. I've been a bassist for 10 years and was never really satisfied with my tone. Originally thinking it would cost thousands to get my dream rig to get the sound i wanted, it's all here in the preamp,

Not only is it good for bass guitar, chucked my MOOG DFAM Synthesizer through it and it's a whole other animal, even tried some of my cheaper digital synths, cranked in some distortion and even resurrected my love for some of the synths i was going to sell after using them in conjunction with the Darkglass.

Great Features with the EQ and Distortion.

It's nice being able to have an EQ and distortion pedal in one. I used to use my friends for our band until I got my own bass rig with separate EQ and Distortion pedals. But this pedal was very useful. I used my EQ settings for the show and dialed in a good tone and then easily added on the distortion with a multitude of sounds to choose from. Bite and Growl to add some punch and beef and the awesome Alpha and Omega knob to find a good balance between warmer and grittier distortion. Along with the blend so you have just the right of distortion that you want.

Versatile, built to last, lots of features, a definite must-have!

The Alpha Omega Ultra is an incredible stompbox that sounds absolutely amazing. With two different distortion types (and the ability to blend them), a six-band graphic EQ, the feature to have a cab sim loaded on the pedal (plus you can tweak them by downloading the free Darkglass Suite software online), this a must-have on any bassist's board. Darkglass, in my opinion, is the Apple of bass products.
