My dad added some seymour duncans to this. It still sounds amazing. I just really wish I had a floyd rose on it. I may just have to mod it. Everyone says "it's not worth it". But this guitar and I have history and I'd like to continue that by making it more practical for current usage. It was a great first guitar. Not my go to these days as I have to get a lot of things fixed on it. Another thought too. It was the most comfortable electric I've ever played while sitting down. It just fits you know?

I play metal. I mean Heavy Metal. This guitar is mean! Just got it completely set up and have been recording an album with it. It is just awesome for any style you want to play. Extremely versatile.

I remember I had researched some $600 acoustic electric nylon stringed guitar that I was obsessing over and when I finally got to play it at the Guitar Center it just sounded like garbage. I tried every classical guitar in there that day, they ranged up to $1000+. But this guitar just sang. I picked it up for $90 used. I have had it for probably 7 years and it goes with me every time I go on trips or parties where us guitarists are welcome. It sits in the entryway of my room. I learned everything I know about finger-style picking on it. Amazing. Just amazing.

While recording, I'll use multiple tones for a lot of different styles. In live situations this will save your life. I switched from using single pedals to this and let me tell you, you are not losing any tone with this. As long as you use it right. But you have to play around with it. Find what works and what doesn't. If you have a pc you can use your computer to save settings easier. I have a second for just in case my original one dies. Perfect for any genre. I remember selling my whammy pedal and being surprised that this sounded exactly like it. I only wish there were more pedals to step on to add more effects to each setting because the main drawback for live situations is by switching from one'pedal board' patch to another there will be a slight drop out in sound. So make sure you figure that out during rehearsal and NOT in the middle of a show.

My first distortion pedal was the DOD Death Metal, my second was the Metal Zone MT-2. I then went to a GNX-3000 for a long time. The distortion in that pedal was untouchable. Gearheads would come up to me after the show wondering how I got that tone, amazed. When I showed them a multi-effects they were disappointed. Years later I rediscovered my Death Metal pedal and Metal Zone (which my dad had modded by Keeley). They sounded too much of the same. Then I discovered this pedal. After I did a quick shoot out of all 3 pedals, I decided the victor: The Metal Master. It is exactly the tone and sound I have in my head. The morph function is epic. The mids are not missed for what I'm going for. In many pedal forums you'll hear these gear nerds say things like "If metal is in the name it's bad". They are so f-ing wrong. It depends on YOUR tone that you are searching for. I've fooled many many crowds in my day with my sounds. If it's good, it's good. This pedal to me is the sound I've been searching for my entire life. Thanks Digitech!

I just love how much more noticeable this is over the standard Boss Flanger. I wanted a Flanger sound that was reminiscent of Brian Eno's work on the Heroes album, even though I mainly play metal. It's got a nice higher Frequency that doesn't overwhelm, but is just high enough to now you're on the airplane! This will help you sould like you're flying! Love it.

I almost never play clean without it. And on my power metal solos it really helps add a splash of sparkle!

I just found my old Fostex MR-8HD and listened to all of the stuff I recorded years ago. I clearly didn't know how to capture guitars at the time, but when I used 2 sm57s recording an old drummer of mine in a Primus/Pantera/Cure sort of band, holy smokes was it perfect. I didn't know anything about sound then but somehow the drums still sound amazing. Bass too! I think you'll find this machine is surprisingly good if you still want to get a retro feel for recording. Also, the first track is a *example* recording. It's quite catchy. Listen to it!

Because I am poor, I would switch the usb cord between my previous CI 1 unit to my midi keyboard when writing and recording songs. Eventually the midi input broke on both, so I replaced them. On the new one which I have only had for a year it has been causing sound dropouts. Whether I'm watching a video or recording. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software so I am looking to upgrade. Any suggestions would be wonderful!

This software made my recordings go from sounding ok to sounding just like the pros when it comes to drum tones and velocity. When I first used it I was recording primarily in Garageband and since have moved on to Logic. The fact that I could make such recordings with drums that sound that good in Garageband makes me wish I could give it a million more stars. This has reignited my love for recording in a big way. I have used the guitar presets, all of the vocal presets and some of the bass presets. All are amazing. I may be super jealous that he is the new guitarist of Priest, but he is clearly the right choice. He is a modern genius.

This beginner synth has the touch sensitivity which is the main thing I care about when playing around with a synth. I'm not a piano player at all, but if a piano is what you want, this is not it. This is more for the people who want to dink around with fun/standard sounds that come on these sorts of keyboards. I tend to use the 80's brass sounds a lot.

This pedal is so fun. Not very practical for what I used it for, which was mainly copying my hero Dimebag Darrell at the time of use. I unfortunately had to sell it. I switched over to the GNX3000 which has all of the same exact effects and haven't looked back. If I ever get back into buying single pedals again, this is in my first 10 pedals I'm getting for sure.

After playing around and writing a few songs with this guy, I can say this thing sounds amazing. My only beef I have with is, myself, as I didn't read through the manual for it, and or do a real deep dive to scratch what this thing was even capable of. I'm not a huge fan of the knobs on this either. I love my Poly D knobs much more as that feels more fun to play with. I will say that the sheer amount of types of sounds that you could get from this is insane, many retro sci-fi sounds and new fun ones. I wish I could've kept it long enough to discover more! This guitar is so awesome. Clean is more low end than I'm used to as I was brought up playing Strats. But the tone you get out of it is just killer, no matter if you are playing metal, country, blues or whatever. The tone reigns supreme on this beast.
