Critic Reviews

Alesis V49 review | Digital Piano Review Guide

digitalpianoreviewguide.com

The Alesis V49 offers a minimalist yet efficient design perfect for studio use, boasting a solid keybed and an enticing price point. Its compact form makes it ideal for limited spaces and on-the-go producers, while the included Xpand!2 software adds immense value. However, it lacks the extensive adaptability of more feature-rich controllers, making it less suitable for intricate sound design. Overall, the V49 is a superb entry-level choice for musicians seeking functionality without breaking the bank.

Cheap & Incredible For Most Uses!

This keyboard is cheap and reliable. I bought myself one of these almost 6 months ago, it's been my daily driver since. If you plan to use this keyboard for plugins, I couldn't recommend it more. The keyboard is extremely responsive has a great design with it's drum pads being to the side of the keys instead of directly above, a design tactic many cheap midi keyboards use today. My one critique is the tedious setup process for the drum pads, the software provided is clunky and daunting for beginners, but once the you figure out the software it's extremely fun mapping random sounds to your drum pads. Overall this is an incredible product for the price, I would recommend.

Great MIDI keyboard

I love this keyboard. It is on a very low price, especially for what you get. The keys do not feel cheap at all. The pads are not that good for long sessions, and there is no record button sadly. This keyboard is not so good for live sessions, but amazing for producing.

aob_music

Great Keyboard !!

Very easy to use and overall a great MIDI keyboard for the price. Having the drum pads on the keyboard is especially nice if you don’t want to buy one separately.

hornitmusic

Great controller

The keys feel great, very bouncy and legitimate feeling. Using the pads sends an echo through the keyboard from the forceful pushing, and sometimes a key thinks it's still held down when its not, but that's easily fixed by hitting the same key again.

sergio_calabria

Easy to use

Never played the keyboard before, and I needed something to learn and to record music as well. This keyboard is more than sufficient, and I use it with Ableton. I'm still not a pro, so I still have some learning to do. Anyway, it's great material to me!

tkne_grizzly

Feels nice.

I used this for a year now and it is amazing the feel the pads it fits what I need for music.
