In this TotalGuitar YouTube video from 2014, at 2:40, Matty Healy says "This is my guitar... I love this guitar; it's a 1965 Fender Mustang."

In the podcast, asked for an instrument/plugin he can't live without, Matty mentioned the OP-1 at 1:14:20.

In this videos he uses a 1965 Fender Mustang in White, fitted with Mojo pickups. He also has a black Mustang which he frequently uses.

Matty most commonly uses a Gibson ES-330 live on the songs “It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)” and “Me and You Together Song.”

Although Matty has stated previously that they mainly use Logic Pro, in this GQ 10 Essentials interview, at 3:50 he's asked "what does he use a lot of" on his Macbook Pro, stating that "it's all just very basic music stuff. It's Logic and Notes [...] are the two things that are open so there you go"
