Oh, the Lionheart. I just saw that now. Seems very odd that a 1x12 inch speaker only delivers 5 watts... was that done on purpose? It says something about clipping, so I imagine it's meant to be played very loudly.

God no. I can deal with a sold state, but every extra knob makes my eyes water. I don't understand how people can use these amps with so many options and controls. Must take a massive amount of patience to figure out how everything works and which sound has the sweet spot.

Oh crap, my mistake. Blues Junior and Laney Cubs are one channels.

Simple is the way i'm trying to go here, but i'd really like a good gain channel to accompany me. The Blackstar (ID and HT I believe), Vox AC series, Fender Blues Junior (because come one, why wouldn't I?), and... Laney. I've heard of them on and off. That Laney Cub 12R caught my eye immediately. Has that D'Armond pickup look like on the Martin D-18E's. Classic look, simple controls, EL84's, simple controls... I'd like to try a few Laneys, but Guitar Centre doesn't supply these.

On a side note, that Music Man is beautiful. Never seen it before, and i'm not in favour of most Music Man guitars. That may be the exception.

Oh shit, you're right. Few things, though. It's 13 pounds heavier and is 50 watts. Probably only a few decibels higher, but none of which I can afford if I can only turn a Frontman to 2.5 while scaring the neighbours. Probably good sounding, but one which I must pass on.

You know what I don't understand? I went to Guitar Centre and I always like to use their Blues Junior. However, they always seem to be quite loud. So why is it that a 15 watt tube amp is perceived to be louder (in an already loud environment) than a 25 watt solid state in a quite environment? Because it seems I can't go anymore than 2.5-3 on a Blues Junior.

Actually, that sounds like a good idea.. Get a mod to edit the name and that should sort it out.

Yes, I realise that, but there were two fundamental mistakes with that. First, as I've seen, we try to keep artists names on here, then the band / alias. Also, the one with just Bahamas has a bad submission that needs to be deleted.

He removed all the knobs and the bridge pickup, the one in the Instagram photo is the final result.

Bottom left, I think that's Guild Aristocrat of some sort, but the Bigsby may have been an aftermarket installation (if I used the word in the right context). Here is a good photo with the guitar:
