Peter Christopherson's Gear
"Our sound sources include quite a lot of original analog gear (OSCAR, Korg Poly-6, EMS synthi, Roland Juno60 - all midi-retro fitted BTW) plus the usual samplers (Emax, s1000, Samplecell II). These are controlled by sequencers including Studio Vision, Cubase and the "retro-style" Doepfer (originally made for Kraftwerk). The sounds are intially effected by various standard echoes and FX including a Roland SDX-330 Dimensional Expander (3D-ish) and a Boss SE70 (good vocoder presets!)."
Sleazy is leaning against, among other things, a SYSTEM 104 in this class image.
In 1:07, and 7:22 of this video (as well as at other times during the hectic editing) you can see Sleazy using a Nord Lead synthesizer. I think it's a Lead 1, though that doesn't come up on equipboard. He also mentions using a Nord for Coil's Ape of Naples in this interview: https://archive.org/stream/CoilInterviewTheMillionDollarAltar/Coil%20interview%20-%20The%20Million%20Dollar%20Altar_djvu.txt
A Mackie 32-8 with Meter Bridge can be seen in this photo of Coil's home studio
Sleazy explains much of their studio setup in the original BRAINWASHED interview.
Sleazy's laptop has Ableton running, with Ableton's EQ and Compressor clearly visible.

sleazy used the persephone in lots of live soisong stuff, easy to see in this vid

Peter's laptop has Ableton Live open in this picture. Since Peter died in 2010, it's likely he was using Live 8, which came out in 2009.
While the MacBook in this picture is fairly obviously, a Mini-Kaoss Pad is seen sitting close to the camera.
In a photo on Xlr8r, Peter Christopherson is seen with an Apple MacBook Pro, which is positioned prominently alongside a Mini-Kaoss Pad.

Sleazy mentions this not only the Keyboard Magazine Interview from 1987, but again in the COIL website FAQ from 2001.
The Doepfer MAQ 16/3 Sequencer can be seen in this 1997 photo posted to Drew McDowall's Instagram.
Sleazy mentions a retro-style Doepfer sequencer in the Coil FAQ from 2001.
Sleazy frequently mentioned that the main sound source for the early records was the E-mu Emulator II, although its sounds were sometimes exported to the Fairlight via MIDI and edited on it.
In 1994 Coil released the ANS album, which made use of this strange photoptic Russian syntheisizer (for those who don't know, this can also be heard on the soundtrack to Tarkovsky's original 'Solaris'). See the Wikipedia entry for more details.
