Adam Slack uses a 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior for many songs during live tours, as shared on his Instagram. He also plays other Les Paul Juniors, including a distinctive yellow/red doublecut model. The 1958 Les Paul Junior, with its Vintage Sunburst finish, lightweight mahogany body, and single P-90 pickup, became a favorite among guitarists from the late '60s and '70s, such as Leslie West and Keith Richards.

"I designed this guitar with Kz Guitar Works and we went for a semi hollow body guitar with a single humbucker for simplicity. When I play live I primarily use a bridge position humbucker. I like playing around with the volume and tones to create more sounds rather than use the other pickups. It also has a fat 50s style neck. I love this guitar!"

In this Rig Rundown video done with Adam Slack he goes in depth with the interviewer on what his equipment has been for the recent Body Talks tour. Among a great deal of interesting pedals, ampliphiers, and guitars he mentions his use of a MXR Analog Chorus pedal. He claims to have wanted to add this pedal to his board because of Brian May. Brian May was a great influence on Adam Slack and was known for putting his guitar through a chorus pedal all of the time.
