Aphex Twin

Aphex Twin lists the Akai S950HXC amongst the gear used in the recording of his 2014 album Syro.

On the comment section, Richard David James (under the name of user18081971) mentions that he used the Yamaha GX-1 for a few tracks. "i did quite a few with it, looking very forward to having it fully midified. Trouble is though id rather Colin make more o.s updates to Cirklon!"

on the syro gear list it is listed as Jomox Sunsyn V1x2 which suggests he has two of them.

Besides being mentioned on the Syro gear list, Richard gives more details about this piece of gear with a comment about microtunings left on his SoundCloud page (user18081971). Comment can be found on his uploaded track called "Love 7": "with the chroma, i just use midi for sysex midi tuning dumps to get them in, bit more tricky getting them out but doable."

On this link, there are Richard David James's comments/replies to some of his fans (back when the account had a different name: "user487363530"). In response to the user @kinbotte, Richard not only confirms that he owns the Elektron Analogue Rytm, but also a bunch of other gear: "ive never found one i really liked. i would love to design my own with someone who could build it for me, I dont really want to spend my time building instruments. Elektron RYTM is prob fave right now, although it doesn't sample which is a shame, dsi tempest, RSF SD140, Pearl fightman[needs mods], Pearl sc40,doepfer a112, Dynacord Add one,loads good plugins these days, sds3, Klone dual perc synth. For synth drum sounds, always best to make your own on a modular+imagination, can make more complex and original sounds than any of the above really, just more of a pain to conjure up."

In the track title "[S770/SCI 3000, powertran] beautiful Japanese people" from the album Rushup Edge by The Tuss, Aphex Twin references the Sequential Circuits Prophet 3000, indicating its use in his production.

On his SoundCloud's account comments, another item that Richard David James mentions as gear that he uses is the Eventide H8000FW: "Really inspired me, thanks Tom, he gave me some of his patches, awesome stuff, wouldn’t want to use them of course, they are his. He made some synths on them which was some great lateral thinking at the time. Never rinsed my DSP4000 anywhere near as much as he did but I’ve been recently been giving the 8000 a REALLY hard time with the Cirklon! inspired greatly by Tom."

Despite being noted as "not 100% accurate" by Richard himself (source:https://web.archive.org/web/20141103131334/http://noyzelab.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/syrobonkers-part1.html), the list on the Syro album packaging confirms the usage of the Calrec Mini Mixer on the recording of the Syro album.

In the official notes for the track Korg 1B it lists the following equipment: Korg MR16, Korg Volca beats, Korg Monologue, Korg Minilogue, Korg poly 61m, BAM space generator, Sequentix Cirklon & a lot of PGM changes and CC data

Besides being listed on the Syro gear list, there are a couple of details one must keep in mind. Richard owns 8 of the limited version of the ISA110. The differences between this version and the original one are: "The Focusrite ISA 110 Original Mono Mic-Pre & Equalizer is a limited-edition version of the famed single-channel ISA 110 EQ module. The new ISA 110 differs from the original in that it is packaged in a horizontal one-rackspace unit with an internal power supply. However, the electronic circuit design, the componentry and the performance specifications are all exactly the same as the original ISA 110."
