In this video documentary showing the soundcheck of Bauhaus in the 80's you can see the EHX Muff Fuzz (with orange letters) stuck on to David J's bass (https://youtu.be/BI02Wcoto_M?t=76).

In this photo of his pedalboard you can see a white boss tuner at the front of his signal chain. As the branding is obscured by tape it cannot be definitively stated whether it is a TU-2 or a TU-3. However given the wear-and-tear of the pedal and some of the characteristics of the screen display, one could make an educated guess that it is a TU-2

During the live performance of "She's in Parties" at Roxy Fest in Guadalajara on April 21, 2018, David J used the Ampeg SVT-810E 8x10 Bass Cabinet, as seen in the YouTube video by Agus Ramirez.

David J is currently using (2022) an 1973 Ampeg SVT Magnavox era and slaving an Ampeg HERITAGE 50TH ANNIVERSARY SVT head two power two HERITAGE 50TH ANNIVERSARY SVT 8x10 Cabs! I sold him the vintage SVT

He used Ampeg svt Classic and a 810 Cab
