When asked what VST he used to produce Hydra, Deniz Koyu responded, "...Then there is one more synth only for the bass which is the Rob Papen SubBoomBass, and the rest are only drums and effects."
"For synths, my favorite VST for simple and quick programming is the Sylenth."

"Sometimes I might apply one EQ for light adjustments (UAD Cambridge), but all the real magic happens within the mix on the individual tracks, not on the master channel."
At 4:45 Deniz Koyu says, "I made this with, it's called Cableguys Curve and it's an arpeggiated sound sound that I made really short and it plays this melody with some distortion on it so it sounds like this dirty guitar sound."
