In an interview with Musicophilia, Erik Norlander mentioned his connection to the Alesis A6 Andromeda Synthesizer, stating: "Unfortunately I do not [have the patent]. The Andromeda is wholly owned by Alesis, and Alesis is owned by inMusic. I tried to actually buy the product at one point and manufacture a Mark 2 version, but it was not possible for a number of logistical reasons. The custom chips that Keith Barr designed were a particular problem." This indicates Norlander's familiarity and involvement with the synthesizer.
